Wednesday 9 June: The Winter Netball Season has been underway for the past few weeks and the grading games for the Year 5/6 teams have now finished.
We are very proud of the way the teams have been representing Owairaka and showing Manaakitanga and Manawanuitanga each week. Thank you to our parents who have offered to coach or referee this season as well. We really appreciate your time and effort!

Wednesday 16 June:
Fielding teams on Production Night but was pretty tough but we got there in to end. All 3 teams played at 4pm and thanks to Lucy who played for Strikers (below) and Danica who played for Ferns, we were able to take the court with 6 players in each team. A big thank you to Lizzie for refereeing the Stars game this week. Hopefully everyone will be well enough to play next week.
I remember playing netball for my school (many, many years ago) - good times! Great to hear you are showing Manaakitanga and Manawanuitanga at the netball courts - you are super role models. Yes, thanks for the support parents/caregivers; it really makes a difference. Ka pai everyone!
