Well done to all the boys (and girl, thanks J'Varn) who represented Owairaka in the Eden Albert Football Tournament. We were up against some top grade teams and more than held our own over the four games we played.
They also showed great resilience and fair play.
Many thanks to all the parents who helped with transport and came along to support.
You can all be super proud of the Manaakitanga you showed each other and teams from other schools. There were many positive comments from the adult helpers on the day. Ka mau te wehi! (Fantastic!)
ReplyDeleteHello Teddy here, I really liked doing the football tournament. We did pretty good we tied one game which is very good because we were against A grade teams, and they are very good.
ReplyDeleteWell done to William the only person who scored in our team. I saw some of my friends there that are in my football team.
